AIR VAC SERVICE FAQs
How does an air vac truck work?
Air vac is a form of excavation where an all-in-one truck uses high-pressure air to dig instead of water. It is usually desired in situations where the soil is loose, water is not readily available, in small-scale excavation projects, or where immediate backfill of the hole is required.
What are the benefits of using an air vac?
Air excavation allows contractors to locate a utility and verify location, while also allowing dry backfilling of the hole with the same soil that is excavated. This method doesn’t require disposing of wet/muddy slurry of material and thus eliminates several costs such as disposal and water fees.
Is it possible to rent out the air vac hourly?
